  1. Many people work with graphics. Some take photos of family and friends, some
  2. scan images of favorite actors or documents, some download pictures from
  3. Internet:

  5. ImageConverter Plus - is a set of tools for viewing, processing and printing
  6. graphics files (photos, images, drafts, faxes, icons, cursors, etc.).
  7. ImageConverter Plus contains four mutually integrated programs:
  8. ╖       poly-document graphics editor ImageEditor Plus;
  9. ╖       improved pre-printing processing module;
  10. ╖       Windows Explorer shell extension module;
  11. ╖       graphic files batch processing module.
  12. All these modules are easy to use and have intuitive interface.

  14. ImageEditor Plus allows you to open and view single- and poly-document graphic
  15. files:
  16. ╖       In original size (without scaling);
  17. ╖       Images can be both increased or decreased;
  18. ╖       Lens mode;
  19. ╖       Full-screen mode (entire document);

  21. The "Lens" tool is optimized for viewing large and very large images as, for
  22. instance, scanned faxes, drafts or high quality images. It allows you to enlarge
  23. part of image viewing the entire document. You can move large image within
  24. working space both with standard scrolling bars and "catching" image with
  25. cursor. You need to switch into "Hand mode". You can also change the working
  26. space background color.

  28. ImageEditor Plus allows you:
  29. ╖       copy images into Windows clipboard or create an image from it's
  30. contents;
  31. ╖       change the size and number of colors in image;
  32. ╖       flip and rotate image;
  33. ╖       adjust image brightness and contrast;
  34. ╖       refine images with built-in filters.

  36. Batch processing manager should be mentioned separately. You can intuitively set
  37. a task for file batch conversion module and start it.
  38. Graphic files are sent to printing by printing module. One active document as
  39. well as all open documents is printed in one mouse click.

  41. Improved pre-printing processing module is a powerful tool, supporting a great
  42. number of general and special functions, such as:
  43. ╖       automatic and manual images arrangement on a page;
  44. ╖       Print scaling with mouse;
  45. ╖       Image signing capability;
  46. ╖       Image shades and frames capability;
  47. ╖       One or several images preview in common or full-screen mode;

  49. The Printing module can work both with single- and poly-document graphic files.
  50. Work with a great number of images is much facilitated by Inspector panel,
  51. performing navigation on preparing pages.

  53. Windows Explorer shell extension.
  54. After you've installed ImageConverter Plus, right click on a graphic file and it
  55. will call Windows Explorer pop-up menu with two new elements: selected file
  56. thumbnail and info and section "Convert to:". If you select two or more graphic
  57. files, only section "Convert to:" will appear. If you click on thumbnail,
  58. selected graphic file will open in ImageEditor Plus for viewing and editing.

  60. From "Convert to:" section you can:
  61. ╖       see list of graphic formats you can convert selected files to;
  62. ╖       start selected files batch renaming;
  63. ╖       copy selected file into Windows clipboard;
  64. ╖       open section for setting selected files as Windows desktop wallpaper;
  65. ╖       launch ImageConverter Plus settings.

  67. ImageConverter Plus settings panel contains:
  68. ╖       size, quality and maximum waiting for thumbnail time settings for
  69. selected file;
  70. ╖       settings for converted files (path to folder where ready files will be
  71. stored; color depth, sizes; crop settings; settings for brightness and contrast
  72. adjustment; etc.);
  73. ╖       settings for selected files batch renaming (path to folder where ready
  74. files will be stored; mask for renaming of selected files).
  75. This component allows you to rename or convert your files in two mouse clicks.
  76. You don't need to open your files in a graphics editor and save one by one in
  77. desired format. Just select files in Windows Explorer click on them with right
  78. mouse button, select "Convert to:" in pop-up menu and click on desired format.
  79. You'll save much time!

  81. Graphic files batch processing module
  82. Professionals as well as new users often need to covert graphic files from one
  83. format to another quickly and qualitatively. The Graphic files batch processing
  84. module allows to complete this goal!
  85. You have scanned a document and want to crop fields? Graphic files batch
  86. processing module allows to do it too.
  87. Do you need to create thumbnail for your image collection? No problem! All you
  88. need to do is to define thumbnail width and height limitations and choose one of
  89. four available scaling algorithms.
  90. You can adjust brightness and contrast, change number of colors and image size,
  91. flip images with the same facility. You can also rasterize vector files or
  92. vectorize raster files.
  93. Batch processing can be launched from ImageEditor Plus or from "Convert to:"
  94. shell extension. Batch processing will be performed as a separate background
  95. process and won't influence your work with ImageEditor Plus or other programs.

  105. The program reads 20 graphic formats (BMP, DIB, RLE, TIFF, GIF, JPEG, PNG, PCX,
  106. DCX, TGA, DXF, EPSF, WMF, WPG, IMG, PCD, ICO, CUR, ANI and FMF) and converts
  107. images into 12 formats (TIFF, GIF, BMP, PCX, DCX, EPS, TGA, JPEG, PNG, WMF, EMF,
  108. FMF).
